- This episode is a reversed version of "Just One of the Princes", where everyone told Sofia that flying derby is a princely thing.

- Hugo's father is revealed to be named King Garrick.
- Hugo's kingdom is shown for the first time in this episode, but the name of said kingdom is not revealed.
- Flora gave Hugo a pair of ice-dancing skates but put a spell on the other boys' hockey skates instead of giving them skates like Hugo.
Errors[]
- Surprisingly, King Garrick was able to put on Hugo's skates, despite the fact that his son's feet are obviously smaller than his own.
- Ice-dancing and ice hockey are scheduled to meet at the same time, but when Hugo was switching between said classes, Sofia was the only one on the pond for ice-dancing.
- Sofia was having trouble learning to ice-dance, but when she was singing, she was able to skate perfectly.
- Garrick was carrying ice fishing gear when he went into the ice rink to see Hugo and Sofia. But when he left the kids alone, he didn't take his fishing gear with him.
