Wormwood is the former pet raven of Cedric, the royal sorcerer of the kingdom of Enchancia. When Cedric became a "goody-goody," Wormwood eventually turned against him by siding with Prisma.[1]
Physical appearance[]
Wormwood has dark purple feathers, a gray beak, and green eyes with yellow sclera.
Personality[]
Wormwood shared Cedric's ambition to take over the kingdom and then to steal Princess Sofia's Amulet of Avalor to get it done, but Cedric was constantly at odds with his growing friendship with Sofia, while Wormwood never let personal feelings get in the way. Furthermore, he even used his lack of friends as an excuse to get Clover, Mia, and Robin out the way so Sofia wouldn't know her amulet had been taken by Cedric.[2]
He believes himself to be quite smart and talks with a whiff of superiority, even more so than Cedric, which got quite frustrating for Wormwood, who had began insulting Cedric behind his back, like calling him a buffoon.[3]
Powers and abilities[]
He can fly with the use of his wings, which can also form into hands. When Cedric accidentally spilled a talking potion on Wormwood, it allowed him to be understood by humans.[3]
History[]
Early life[]
Wormwood became Cedric's assistant when he studied at Hexley Hall.[3]

Notes/trivia[]
- It's implied in "Substitute Cedric" (season 2, episode 20), that Cedric may have turned a rock into Wormwood, but "Hexley Hall" suggests otherwise.
- For some reason he was missing from "Through the Looking Back Glass".
