Ariel Winter is an American actress, born as Ariel Winter Workman, on January 28, 1998 in Los Angeles, California. She is known for her role as Alex Dunphy in Modern Family (also starring Eric Stonestreet). She is the title character of Disney Junior's Sofia the First. She also provides the singing voice of Sofia.
To promote the pilot movie in 2012, she did a music video for "Rise and Shine". A shortened version appeared during the end credits of the aforementioned movie.
